Overview:Originally knows as the "Queen City of the Platte" Evans offers the feel of a small town, and is located at the intersection of US 85 and US 34. Evans occupies a total area of 3.8 square miles.
Attractions:As the recipient of a Gold Medal for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management in 2004, it's no surprise that Evans has over 300 acres of parks and open space, along with scenic trails that run along the Platte River. Residents of Evans enjoy cozy, small-town living coupled with all the amenities of city life, including shopping, a local airport and easy access to Denver International Airport.
Real Estate:Evans offers affordable housing options including smaller ranch style homes, mobile homes, condominiums and townhomes. Luxury homes on acreage represent the other end of the spectrum. Commercial real estate is primarily found along US 85, as well as expansion moving west and south of the Platte River. With the Union Pacific Railroad nearby, commercial and industrial shipping opportunities abound, along with more mainstream retail real estate. Outlying rural areas are mainly tapped for agriculture.
