Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Overview:

Encircled by the San Juan National Forest in the Four Corners area of southwest Colorado, Pagosa Springs was named for its sulfur springs, which includes the world's deepest hot spring. Thanks to a mix of Rocky Mountain protection and high desert plateau, this small town has a mild climate year round.

Not to mention, Wolf Creek ski resort is a short half hour drive.
