Sterling, Colorado is the county seat of Logan County in northeastern Colorado off Interstate 76. The city has an area of almost 7 square miles with a rich history tied to farming, cattle ranching and the railroad.

Sterling is home to Northeastern Junior College and is considered a destination for outdoorsmen with excellent pheasant, duck and deer hunting. North Sterling State Park is celebrated for its wonderful swimming, boating, camping and fishing. The Logan County Fair and Sugar Beet Days offer fun and excitement annually. Sterling offers shopping for residents throughout the region as well as health care at the Sterling Regional Medical Center.
