Glade Park, Colorado

Overview:

Located 16 miles west of downtown Grand Junction, this tiny unincorporated town is accessible by hairpin curves, gaining about 2,500 feet in elevation over 4 miles. Due to the high elevation, Glade Park is usually 10 degrees cooler than Grand Junction.

Enjoy scenic wildlife by biking or hiking your way through the beautiful red stone canyons and steep cliffs.

Most residential properties include 35-40 acre lots which often includes their own wells for water and "green" construction including straw bale, domes, log and earthen berm construction. Commercial properties barely exist with no restaurants or hotels available. This is a place to get away from it all.
