Originally a water stop for the Burlington & Missouri Railroad, Hudson is located in southern Weld County along I-76 and Highway 52, east of Fort Lupton. The elevation of Hudson is 5000 feet above sea level. Hudson offers small town appeal and local charm.

Many are attracted to Hudson for camping and enjoying the Colorado outdoors. Hunting and fishing are also popular pastimes for residents and visitors. The local Hudson Area Chamber of organizes annual festivals and community events for the whole family.
