The town of Henderson is located in Adams County which is less than 20 miles northwest of the city of Denver and sits at an elevation of 5,023 feet. Henderson is situated alongside the Platte River and is home to the Adams County Fairgrounds. Adams County Regional Park houses the fairgrounds as well as campgrounds and open space.
