Wellington, Colorado

Overview:

The Town of Wellington is located in Larimer County, Colorado just north of Fort Collins along I-25 and just south of the Wyoming border. Wellington sits at an elevation of 5180 feet above sea level.

Attractions:

This small farming community offers rural living in close proximity to the larger city of Fort Collins. The town was founded in 1902, incorporated in 1905, and it was named for CL Wellington, an employee of the Colorado and Southern Railroad. Wellington has its roots in agriculture and the railroad and has retained its delightful historic small town feel.
